We are seeking skilled and reliable Day Shift Counterbalance Forklift Drivers to join the team on a 4 on, 4 off shift pattern. However, this could be on an ADHOC basis initially to work into the team. This is a 4 on 4 off pattern so you must be able to get to and from site on weekends, shifts run 07:00 – 19:00.

Duties

  • Operate counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently to load, unload, and transport goods within the warehouse.
  • Utilise Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to track inventory movements and update records accurately.
  • Assist with shipping and receiving processes, ensuring timely dispatch and receipt of materials.
  • Handle materials carefully, adhering to safety protocols for heavy lifting and storage.
  • Support warehouse organisation by stacking, storing, and retrieving products as required.
  • Collaborate with team members to optimise workflow and improve operational efficiency.

Experience

  • Proven experience operating counterbalance forklifts within a warehouse or logistics setting.
  • Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is highly desirable.
  • Ability to perform basic maths for inventory counts and measurements.
  • Physical capability for heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing or operating machinery.
  • Previous experience in warehouse environments with exposure to load & unload activities is preferred.

This role requires a dedicated individual committed to safety, efficiency, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment. Candidates should possess relevant forklift certification or licence, along with practical knowledge of warehouse operations to succeed in this position.
