Warehouse Operative – Immediate Start – Swansea

Are you ready to join a fast-paced warehouse team? We have an exciting full-time, temporary Warehouse Operative role available in Swansea, with the potential to extend based on performance. If you’re an energetic individual who thrives in a dynamic environment, we want to hear from you!

Role Overview:

In this busy and physically demanding role, you’ll be involved in a variety of tasks including replenishing stock, processing bulk sales at checkout, picking and packing customer orders, assisting with deliveries, and maintaining depot standards. You’ll be on your feet all day, moving and lifting stock to meet targets and deadlines.

Details:

  • Job Type: Full-time, temporary (with potential to extend)
  • Hours: 38 hours per week
  • Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, 7am-4pm and 9am-6pm on a rota basis

Key Responsibilities:

  • Replenishing Stock: Ensure shelves and storage areas are well-stocked and organised, anticipating demand and replenishing goods as required.
  • Processing Bulk Sales: Manage bulk sales at checkout, ensuring accuracy and excellent customer service.
  • Picking and Packing: Pick items from designated locations based on customer orders and pack them safely for delivery. Attention to detail is crucial to ensure all orders are correct and meet quality standards.
  • Assisting with Deliveries: Unload and load delivery vehicles with care, ensuring goods are handled safely and placed in the correct locations within the warehouse.
  • Maintaining Depot Standards: Keep the warehouse clean, tidy, and organised at all times. This includes sweeping, removing debris, and disposing of waste materials according to company protocols.
  • Health and Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to health and safety guidelines, including wearing appropriate protective equipment and following safe working practices. Report any potential hazards or near misses to the relevant personnel.
