As a Street Cleaner/Driver, you will be at the forefront of maintaining the cleanliness and aesthetics of Cardiff’s city centre and surrounding areas. Your responsibilities will include driving, general maintenance, litter picking, pavement repairs, street cleaning, and landscaping. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that the streets are not only clean but also safe and welcoming for residents and visitors alike.
Key Responsibilities:
- Driving Duties:
- Operate a company van to navigate around Cardiff, ensuring timely and efficient service delivery. Knowledge of the local area is advantageous. A UK driving licence with no more than 6 points is essential.
Conduct thorough litter picking across designated areas to maintain a clean environment. Use appropriate tools and techniques to ensure streets are debris-free and presentable.
- General Maintenance:
Engage in tasks such as pavement repairs and minor landscaping, including planting and weeding, following health and safety regulations. Be proactive in identifying hazards and resolving issues, working closely with team members to coordinate efforts.
What We Offer:
