About the Company

Our client has been a key player in transport, warehousing, and distribution across South Wales for more than 50 years. With depots in Bridgend, Cardiff, and Newport, they’re known for their reliable, professional service and ongoing growth. They’re now looking for skilled HIAB drivers to join their expanding team.

What You’ll Do

  • Daily Vehicle and Equipment Checks: Conduct comprehensive daily checks on vehicles and equipment to ensure they are roadworthy and in top condition.
  • Collaborate with Depot Staff and Customers: Work closely with depot staff and customers, representing our client professionally at all times.
  • Adherence to Health and Safety Rules: Follow all health and safety rules, ensuring safe practices on every job.
  • Secure Loading and Unloading: Load and unload goods securely, handling materials with care to prevent damage or loss.
  • Communication with Logistics Team: Keep the logistics team updated on delivery progress or any issues.

What You’ll Need

  • A valid HGV licence, HIAB qualification, and CPC card.
  • Previous experience in a similar driving role.
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with the team and customers.
  • Flexibility to work 5 to 7 days a week, including weekends if needed.
  • A commitment to safety and compliance with all regulations.
