Are you a skilled Class 2 HGV Driver looking to advance your career with a leading logistics company? Aligra is recruiting onbehalfof our esteemed client in the Newport area, seeking dedicated and experienced Class 2 HGV Drivers.
- Monday to Thursday: 08:00 – 17:00
- Friday: 08:00 – 16:00
- Standard per hour
- Overtime:Paid at times the standard rate
- 25 holidays (inclusive of a compulsory 5-day Christmas shutdown)
- Closed for bank holidays

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliveries & Collections:Execute reliable deliveries and collections, ensuring all goods are safely transported and delivered on time.
- Daily Vehicle Inspections:Perform thorough daily checks on your vehicle.
- Route Planning:Plan efficient routes to ensure timely and cost-effective deliveries.
- Loading and Unloading:Safely load and unload goods at various delivery points.
- Documentation:Accurately complete all delivery notes, timesheets, and relevant paperwork.
- Customer Service:Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with store personnel.
Requirements:
- Licenses and Certification:
- A valid UK Class 2 HGV (Category C) licence.
- A clean driving record with no more than 6 points on your licence.
- Professionalism:
- Strong communication skills and a professional approach to all interactions.
