Key Responsibilities:
- Reliable Deliveries & Collections: Ensure timely and safe deliveries and collections, maintaining the highest standards of service.
- Efficient Route Management: Plan and execute routes effectively to maximise efficiency and minimise delays.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any issues promptly to ensure seamless operations.
- Paperwork Accuracy: Complete delivery notes, timesheets, and all relevant paperwork with precision.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies to uphold a safe working environment.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the depot team to meet deadlines and maintain the company’s reputation for excellence.
What You Need:
- Licences and Certification: A valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence.
- Driving Experience: Proven experience in a similar HGV role with a clean driving record. No more than 6 points on your licence, and no DD, DR, or IN convictions.
- Professionalism: Strong communication skills and a professional approach to all interactions.
