About the Role:
As aClass 2 Refuse Driver, you will be responsible for driving a refuse vehicle, focusing on commercial waste collection throughout Avonmouth. This role is not just about driving; it’s about contributing to the community, working efficiently with your team, and ensuring a high standard of service.
What You’ll Do:
- Drive a Class 2 Vehicle:Navigate through Avonmouth safely and efficiently to collect commercial waste. Your driving will be key to maintaining smooth operations and timely collections.
- Commercial Collections: Focus on commercial waste collection, ensuring timely and efficient service to businesses across the area. Support Your Team:Work collaboratively with a team of loaders. Although your primary role is driving, teamwork is essential, and you may assist with loading duties when needed.
- Adhere to Health and Safety Guidelines:Follow all health and safety protocols to ensure the safety of yourself and others. Your commitment to safety standards is crucial.
- Provide Excellent Customer Service:Represent Aligra and our client positively by delivering courteous and reliable service to all clients, ensuring customer satisfaction.
What We’re Looking For:
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) Licence and CPC:Essential for operating the refuse vehicle.
- Experience:Previous experience in a similar role is helpful but not essential. We welcome newly qualified drivers eager to start their careers.
