Are you an experienced Class 2 Driver looking to join a well-respected company with strong ties to major construction firms and local communities? Aligra is proud to offer a fantastic opportunity to work with a friendly and professional team based near Basingstoke, delivering reliable skip and recycling services as a Skip Driver, Ro-Ro or HIAB driver. You’ll be responsible for the safe delivery and collection of skips across residential, commercial and construction sites, ensuring excellent customer service at every stop.
Pay & Shifts: £16.14 per hour Monday to Friday 07:00am starts
Responsibilities Include:
- Operate lorries in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Load and unload skips, ensuring that it is secured properly for transport.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation as required by company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations during transport and delivery processes.
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients during deliveries.
What we need from you:
- A clean driving licence with no more than 6 points.
- Proven experience driving Class 2 Skip, RoRo or HIAB vehicles.
- Strong knowledge of EU driving laws and safe working practices.
