Your key responsibilities will include:
- Operating Class 1 HGV vehicles safely and efficiently across assigned routes
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant transport and safety regulations
- Managing deliveries and collections with care, utilising palletised loads and forklift operations
- Maintaining vehicle cleanliness and reporting any mechanical issues promptly
- Completing daily vehicle checks and paperwork accurately
- Communicating effectively with logistics teams to support smooth operations
Days: £20. This role uses rolled-up holiday pay. A holiday pay uplift is included in your hourly rate and paid with each regular salary payment. You will not receive a separate payment for holiday entitlement when it is taken, and this will be itemised on your payslip.
Requirements:
- Valid UK Class 1 HGV licence with a clean driving record
- Experience driving large goods vehicles in a distribution or logistics environment
- Ability to work the 4 on / 4 off shift pattern (day or night shifts available)
- Professional and reliable approach to work
