We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Practitioners and Room Leaders to join childcare teams within South London and East London. The successful candidates will play a vital role in supporting the development, well-being, and learning of young children in nurturing, stimulating, and inclusive environments. The roles involve working closely with children, colleagues, and parents to ensure a safe, engaging, and supportive setting that promotes early development skills. Successful candidates will hold Level 3 childcare qualifications or above and relevant nursery experience. Salary ranges typically £29,000 - £35,000 per year, depending on experience and responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities supporting children's physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development.
  • Supervise children during play, mealtimes, rest periods, and outings, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Foster a warm, welcoming, and inclusive environment that encourages curiosity, independence, and positive behaviour.
  • Maintain accurate records of children's progress, daily activities, and assessments for monitoring development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive team approach to childcare and education programmes.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's progress, milestones, and any concerns.
  • Support the implementation of safeguarding, health, and safety policies within the nursery setting.
  • Assist with the planning and organisation of special events or outings that enhance children's learning experiences.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Level 3 Childcare Qualification or above (Early Years Educator or equivalent) is essential.
  • Proven experience working in nursery or early years settings, including experience in baby, toddler, or pre-school rooms.
  • Strong management and leadership skills for Room Leader roles, capable of guiding and supporting team members.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in English.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team while demonstrating initiative and problem-solving skills.
