A commercially strong Senior Quantity Surveyor is required to support groundworks, civils and RC frame projects across residential and commercial developments. This role suits someone confident managing full project lifecycle commercial duties from tender support through to final account, with the ability to work autonomously and maintain tight cost control.

Key Responsibilities

  • Full commercial management of groundworks, civils and RC frame packages
  • Preparation of BOQs, take-offs and tender support
  • Subcontract procurement, negotiation and ongoing management
  • Monthly CVRs, cost reporting and forecasting
  • Preparation and submission of valuations and applications for payment
  • Management of variations, re-measurement and change control
  • Final account preparation and agreement
  • Close collaboration with site teams to ensure accurate cost capture
  • Client liaison and stakeholder management
  • Contract administration (JCT)

Candidate Requirements

  • Strong experience as a Quantity Surveyor / Senior QS within groundworks, civils or RC frame
  • Ability to manage commercial duties independently
  • Strong understanding of subcontract procurement and cost control
  • Confident producing BOQs, take-offs and tender documentation
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and estimating/QS software
  • Full UK driving licence
