We are looking for a highly organised and commercially minded Senior Merchandise Admin Assistant to support the Merchandising function across trading, stock management, reporting and merchandising operations. This role combines traditional merchandising administration with Merch Ops responsibilities and will play a key role in ensuring stock is managed effectively from intake through to customer delivery. The successful candidate will support the Merchandiser in driving commercial performance whilst ensuring operational excellence across inventory, logistics and wholesale fulfilment.
Key Responsibilities
- Reporting & Analysis
- Produce weekly trade, stock and intake reports.
- Monitor key merchandising KPIs, including stock cover, sell-through and intake performance.
- Collate wholesale sales reports to provide visibility of trading opportunities and support forecasting.
- Support forecasting, planning and commercial decision-making through accurate reporting and ad hoc analysis.
- Seasonal Planning & Product Setup
- Support seasonal planning activities and provide analysis to inform range decisions.
- Input wholesale orders and communicate any range amendments or changes to wholesale partners.
- Complete timely sizing, coordinating seasonal D2C sizing analysis with wholesale buys.
- Maintain accurate product, pricing and stock data across all systems.
- Intake & Supply Chain Management
- Coordinate purchase orders and supplier delivery timelines.
- Track inbound shipments and maintain visibility and accuracy of intake schedules.
- Identify and resolve delivery issues, escalating risks and communicating updates to key stakeholders.
- Ensure stock is available to support launch dates and trading priorities.
- Work closely with Product and suppliers to ensure delivery timelines, shipping documentation and delivery requirements are accurate.
- Assist in resolving supply chain and delivery issues.
- Warehouse & Wholesale Operations
- Manage stock intake from supplier through to warehouse receipt.
- Act as the day-to-day contact for warehouse and logistics partners.
- Coordinate warehouse booking-in schedules and resolve delivery discrepancies.
- Monitor stock flow, warehouse performance and inventory accuracy.
- Support freight bookings and shipment tracking.
- Investigate stock discrepancies and support stock reconciliations.
- Coordinate wholesale order fulfilment from allocation through to dispatch.
- Manage wholesale documentation and ensure customer delivery requirements are met.
- Track and report on wholesale delivery performance.
- Ensure stock is receipted accurately and available for trade in a timely manner.
- Trading & Inventory Management
- Support stock allocation, replenishment and channel management.
- Support channel allocations and stock movement decisions.
- Monitor stock availability and identify risks and opportunities.
- Support promotional activity, markdowns and in-season trading actions.
- Partner with Customer Experience to resolve stock, fulfilment and returns-related issues.
