Aligndent Grove House is a modern, friendly orthodontic practice based in Northfleet, and we are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Dental Nurse to join our dedicated team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Dental Nurse or a Trainee Dental Nurse currently enrolled on an accredited dental nursing course who is eager to develop their skills within a specialist orthodontic environment.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday, One Saturday per month

About You

  • GDC registered (qualified applicants), or a Trainee Dental Nurse enrolled on a recognised dental nursing course
  • Orthodontic experience (desirable but not essential)
  • Understanding of CQC standards, cross-infection control, HTM guidance, safeguarding, and current dental regulations
  • Organised, reliable, and able to work well as part of a team
  • Excellent communication skills and a caring, professional approach to patient care
  • Keen to learn and develop within a specialist orthodontic practice

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting clinicians during orthodontic procedures
  • Preparing and maintaining treatment rooms
  • Ensuring compliance with CQC requirements, infection prevention protocols, and practice policies
  • Maintaining accurate clinical records
  • Sterilisation and decontamination of instruments
  • Supporting patients throughout their orthodontic journey
  • Working closely with the clinical and reception teams to deliver an outstanding patient experience
