This position is ideal for early to mid-level clinical professionals to join the Clinical Education team as an Associate Clinical Liaison, driving clinical excellence and supporting the adoption of digital orthodontic solutions. Partnering with orthodontists, general dentists, universities, and cross-functional teams, you will provide high-quality clinical education, training, and support to build confidence in Align Technology’s products and protocols. This role is key in enhancing clinical outcomes, increasing brand awareness, and supporting the safe and effective use of innovative solutions such as Invisalign, iTero, and ClinCheck®.
Responsibilities
- Deliver clinical education and support to orthodontists, general dentists, DSOs, and universities to drive clinical confidence and product adoption.
- Provide unbiased medical and clinical information to customers and internal teams to ensure safe and effective product use.
- Host and execute clinical trainings, workshops, and speaker-led events.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, sales, clinical) to design and deliver educational programs aligned with business objectives.
- Support onboarding and activation of new customers through structured clinical training and guidance.
- Conduct field visits and co-travel with commercial teams to support key accounts and achieve business goals.
- Develop and execute individual and group training sessions based on account needs and business priorities.
- Build strong relationships with key opinion leaders and support university programs.
- Stay up to date with scientific trends, clinical advancements, and digital innovations across Align’s ecosystem.
- Provide clinical expertise and guidance to internal stakeholders to enhance product knowledge and communication.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Dentistry (DDS, DMD or equivalent); specialization or Master’s degree in Orthodontics preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 2+ years of experience in customer‑facing roles within medical or dental environments.
- Skills: Strong clinical knowledge with the ability to translate it into practical training and education; ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Communication: Excellent presentation, public speaking, and interpersonal communication skills in English.
- Customer focus: Ability to build trust, listen actively, and influence clinical decision‑making.
- Teamwork: Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a cross‑functional, international environment.
- Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast‑growing, dynamic organization with evolving priorities.
