Overview

We are looking for an experienced and driven Area Sales Manager to lead and inspire a high-performing Ortho sales team. The role requires strong leadership, proven management skills, and the ability to coach, motivate, and hold teams accountable to achieve outstanding results.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Territory Managers to consistently deliver against sales targets
  • Drive adoption and growth of Invisalign and iTero within the orthodontic channel
  • Analyse performance data to identify opportunities and build action plans to accelerate growth
  • Partner closely with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Clinical, and Commercial to maximise impact in the field
  • Conduct regular co-travel and field visits to support and challenge team members
  • Ensure consistent execution of sales strategy and programs across the region
  • Foster a culture of accountability, resilience, and continuous improvement within the team

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Life Sciences, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or equivalent leadership qualification preferred.
  • Solid sales management experience – managing, coaching, and developing sales teams (direct people management).
  • Strong coaching and mentoring skills to bring out the best in others
  • Highly analytical with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and inspire at all levels.
  • High-level presentation and facilitation skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to balance long-term planning with day-to-day execution.
  • Resilient, ambitious, and motivated by driving team success
  • Experience in healthcare, dental, or MedTech strongly preferred.

The ideal candidate is based in Birmingham, Leeds, Manchester or Liverpool
