Job Description
Location: Mobile (London - Surrounding Area)
- Perform a wide range of tasks, including repairs, maintenance, and installations.
- Conduct general property maintenance and reactive repairs for commercial and residential properties.
- Diagnose faults and implement effective solutions using analytical skills.
- Ensure high standards of workmanship and customer service in all projects.
- Conduct property MOTs and void works as required.
- Perform heavy lifting when necessary.
Responsibilities
- Execute a wide range of carpentry tasks, including intricate joinery work, custom installations, and structural repairs.
- Conduct comprehensive property maintenance and reactive repairs for both commercial and residential properties.
- Perform detailed property assessments, including MOTs and void works.
- Implement planned preventative maintenance (PPM) strategies.
- Respond to emergency call-outs, providing swift and effective solutions.
- Utilise advanced diagnostic techniques to identify complex faults and implement innovative solutions.
- Collaborate with other trades to complete multi-faceted projects.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations, including the Building Safety Act 2022.
Qualifications / Experience
- NVQ Level 3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent.
- Ideally Fire Door Installation and Maintenance certification from a recognized body.
- At least 5 years' experience in carpentry in commercial properties.
- Understanding of the Building Safety Act 2022 and Fire Safety Order (2005).
- Proficiency with project management tools, particularly OneTrace.
- Full UK Driving Licence with a clean record.
- Additional certifications in related trades (e.g., plumbing, electrical work) are highly desirable.
