Location: Mobile (London – Surrounding Area)

Responsibilities:

  • Perform a wide range of tasks, including repairs, maintenance, and installations.
  • Conduct general property maintenance and reactive repairs for commercial and residential properties.
  • Diagnose faults and implement effective solutions using analytical skills.
  • Ensure high standards of workmanship and customer service in all projects.
  • Conduct property MOTs and void works as required.
  • Perform heavy lifting when necessary.

The Multi Trade Carpenter will be carrying out:

  • Execute a wide range of carpentry tasks, including intricate joinery work, custom installations, and structural repairs.
  • Conduct comprehensive property maintenance and reactive repairs for both commercial and residential properties.
  • Perform detailed property assessments, including MOTs and void works.
  • Implement planned preventative maintenance (PPM) strategies.
  • Respond to emergency call-outs, providing swift and effective solutions.
  • Utilise advanced diagnostic techniques to identify complex faults and implement innovative solutions.
  • Collaborate with other trades to complete multi-faceted projects.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations, including the Building Safety Act 2022.

Qualifications / Experience:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent.
  • Ideally Fire Door Installation and Maintenance certification from a recognized body.
  • At least 5 years' experience in carpentry in commercial properties.
  • Understanding of the Building Safety Act 2022 and Fire Safety Order (2005).
  • Proficiency with project management tools, particularly OneTrace.
  • Full UK Driving Licence with a clean record.
  • Additional certifications in related trades (e.g., plumbing, electrical work) are highly desirable.
