We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager level professional to provide hands-on leadership and technical oversight on a live acute hospital contract in West London. This is a fixed six-month assignment and is not a purely advisory or project-based role. The successful candidate will be mechanically biased and will undertake Authorised Person (AP) duties for both Ventilation and Medical Gas Pipeline Systems (MGPS), in accordance with HTM 03-01 and HTM 02-01. Given the clinical environment, current and demonstrable AP experience within healthcare settings is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate at Operations Manager level, supporting a live hospital contract
  • Provide hands-on leadership to site teams and specialist subcontractors
  • Act as the senior technical escalation point for mechanical, ventilation, and MGPS matters
  • Discharge Authorised Person (AP) responsibilities for:
  • Ventilation (HTM 03-01)
  • Medical Gas Pipeline Systems (HTM 02-01)
  • Work closely with the NHS Trust, estates teams, and clinical stakeholders
  • Support statutory compliance, risk management, and safe systems of work
  • Ensure overall contract performance, governance, and technical assurance
