This brand-new role is being created due to our ongoing expansion and represents a fantastic opportunity to join us as we seek to embark on the next phase of our exciting growth plans. As Technical Director for Structures and Civil Engineering, you will provide strategic leadership and hold overall accountability for the quality, direction and performance of our structural and civil engineering services across the North of England.
Leading teams across our Otley and Northallerton offices, you will set standards, guide technical assurance and create the conditions for your engineers to deliver high-quality, compliant and innovative solutions. This role focuses on shaping our service, developing our people and strengthening client relationships, while overseeing project delivery at a strategic level and contributing to the continued growth and success of Align's multidisciplinary consultancy.
Align projects are very diverse and span various sectors including leisure, historic buildings, refurbishments, care homes, housing, education, public and community buildings, regeneration and public realm. Every day is different with projects across all RIBA Plan of Work stages, ranging in value from £50k to £20m and beyond - recent projects include The Seam, Barnsley and Catterick LUF.
