Join Reddit's Top of Funnel team and play a key role in user growth. Leverage your expertise in machine learning and search engines to introduce Reddit to new users and transform them into engaged members of the community. As a core member, you'll use vast amounts of user data to enhance Reddit's ability to attract, engage, and guide new users. You will own projects from ideation to production, collaborating with a talented, crossâfunctional team to solve hard problems and create experiences that users will love. Responsibilities
- Collaborate on projects with other Top of Funnel engineers, applying Machine Learning to solve discovery, relevance, and recommendation problems.
- Build and deploy sophisticated machine learning models to improve experiences for millions of users.
- Participate in the full software development cycle: design, develop, QA, deploy, experiment, analyze, and iterate.
- Collaborate across disciplines and with other ML teams at Reddit to find technical solutions to complex challenges.
- Be a mentor and crossâfunctional advocate for the team.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience with industryâlevel deep learning models.
- 2+ years of experience with mainstream ML frameworks (such as TensorFlow and PyTorch).
- 4+ years of endâtoâend experience of training, evaluating, testing, and deploying industryâlevel models.
- 4+ years of experience of orchestrating complicated data generation pipelines on largeâscale datasets.
- Successful track record of productionizing and applying machine learning techniques in addressing realâworld problems end to end.
- Comfort analyzing highâvolume natural language and multimodal data from varying sources, proficient with SQL.
- Experience communicating complex research and ideas in a clear, precise, and actionable manner.
- Experience working with dataâintensive systems and writing productionâquality software (preferred Python or Go).
