Job Title: Continental Shift Engineer Salary: £50,000 - £52,000 Location: St Pauls, City of London Job Type: Technical/ Engineering Working Hours: Continental Shift Pattern, Days & Nights Job Summary We are hiring on behalf of our client for a passionate and dedicated Continental Shift Engineer with either a mechanical or electrical bias to support the continued success of their operations. In this role, you will carry out a broad range of maintenance tasks on electrical and mechanical plant equipment and building services within a brand-new, state-of-the-art commercial property. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious engineer looking to work within one of London’s most prestigious buildings and contribute to a high-performing engineering team. Continental Shift Engineer Key Responsibilities * Deliver planned and reactive maintenance on all electrical and mechanical plant and building services. * Carry out fault-finding, diagnostics, and timely repairs to ensure optimal building performance. * Monitor and maintain critical systems, including lighting, power, HVAC, and life safety equipment. * Work as part of a shift team to ensure 24/7 reliability and smooth operation of the building. * Maintain accurate records of work completed and ensure compliance with statutory and company standards. * Support continuous improvement across engineering operations Continental Shift Engineer Requirements * Level 3 Electrical Installation or Mechanical equivalent * 18th Edition * 5 years’ experience in a similar position * Right to work in the UK What’s on Offer * 20 Days Holiday * Bundles of overtime
