Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer – Building Services
Location: Chancery Lane, London
Salary: Up to £45,000
Working Hours: 8:00am – 5:00pm (Monday to Friday)
Alice Rose Recruitment is currently seeking a highly skilled Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join an established facilities team based in Chancery Lane. This is a fantastic opportunity for an engineer with a strong mechanical and electrical background to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify maintenance issues.
- Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across electrical and mechanical systems.
- Ensure all mechanical and electrical equipment operates to optimum performance levels.
- Provide a multi-skilled maintenance service, covering both electrical and mechanical disciplines.
- Issue permits as per company policies and ensure safety procedures are followed.
- Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and building management to ensure smooth operations.
- Carry out modifications and installations as needed.
What You\’ll Bring
- Proven experience in a multi-skilled maintenance role (mechanical/electrical).
- A minimum of NVQ/City & Guilds Level 3 in relevant engineering or maintenance disciplines.
- Experience with building systems such as HVAC, electrical, and mechanical equipment.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well with a team.
- Experience of working in a commercial or office building environment.
- Health and Safety knowledge, including fire safety procedures.
- Proficiency in IT (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
