Alice Rose Recruitment is currently recruiting for an Electrical or Mechanical Shift Engineer to join a highly reputable building services provider on a mix-use site contract based in Stratford. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced shift leader or lead engineer to work on a well-recognised, technically challenging contract with a market-leading facilities management provider. The role offers strong training, clear career progression, and long-term development within a supportive and expanding organisation.
Working Hours
Panama shift pattern (days and nights) 07:00 - 19:00 / 19:00 - 07:00
Shift Leader Benefits
- Basic salary of up to £50,000 per annum

Shift Leader Key Responsibilities
- Lead a shift team of 3 when on shift
- Deliver Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance within a critical environment
- Electrical fault-finding, diagnostics, and repairs on building services systems
- Working on single-phase and three-phase power systems
- Operation and maintenance of UPS systems, generators, and BMS
- Servicing and maintenance of CRAC units, AHUs, FCUs, and VAV/VRF systems
- Maintenance of motors, pumps, and associated plant equipment
Shift Leader Requirements
- Electrically qualified (City & Guilds Level 3, NVQ, or equivalent)
- Previous experience working within a critical site or large environment (desirable)
- Apprentice-trained (preferred)
- Proven background in building services or facilities maintenance
- Strong client-facing skills with excellent communication ability
