Alice Rose Recruitment are partnering with a leading facilities management provider to recruit a Multi-Skilled Site Engineer for a prestigious commercial building in Central London. This is a site-based, Monday-to-Friday role offering long-term stability within a well-managed contract.
The Role
Reporting to the Contract Manager, you will be responsible for delivering planned and reactive maintenance across all building services, ensuring plant reliability, compliance, and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out PPM and reactive maintenance across M&E systems
- Working on AHUs, FCUs, BMS, lighting control, UPS, generators, LV switchgear, emergency lighting, fire alarms, VESDA, sprinklers, motors, VSDs and domestic water systems
- Ensuring all works are completed in line with H&S and statutory compliance
- Liaising with subcontractors and the on-site client team
- Supporting minor installations and plant modifications
- Acting as a technical escalation point when required
Requirements
- Commercial building maintenance experience
- Multi-skilled engineer with electrical or mechanical bias
- NVQ / City & Guilds Level 3 (minimum) in a relevant engineering discipline
- Strong understanding of compliance and safe systems of work
Desirable
- 18th Edition
- L8 (including cooling towers)
- HV/LV Authorised Person
- CAFM experience (Concept / FSI advantageous)
