The Role
You'll take full responsibility for the operational and technical performance of both sites, ensuring excellent service delivery, statutory compliance and client satisfaction while leading the on-site engineering teams and specialist subcontractors.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operation of both commercial buildings
- Lead and support the on-site engineering teams
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Manage specialist subcontractors and service partners
- Ensure PPM and reactive maintenance is delivered to a high standard
- Oversee statutory compliance, health & safety and building documentation
- Review RAMS and manage Permit to Work procedures
- Monitor KPIs, SLAs and overall contract performance
- Manage contract budgets and identify opportunities for improvement
- Produce client reports and attend regular review meetings
- Support engineers with technical guidance and operational planning
- Drive continuous improvement across both contracts
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Contract Manager, Technical Services Manager or Engineering Manager
- Strong commercial building services maintenance background
- Experience managing commercial maintenance contracts
- Knowledge of electrical and mechanical building services plant
- Experience managing subcontractors and client relationships
- Strong understanding of statutory compliance and health & safety
- Excellent organisational and leadership skills
- Electrical or Mechanical qualifications are advantageous
