Alice Rose is currently recruiting for a Foot Mobile Electrical Engineer to join a leading FM service provider, covering a portfolio of commercial properties across Central London. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Electrical Engineer looking to join a well-established business with a strong reputation within the building services industry. The successful candidate will carry out planned and reactive maintenance across multiple commercial sites while benefiting from ongoing training, overtime opportunities, and genuine career progression.

Working Hours

  • Monday to Friday
  • 08:00 – 17:00
  • Call-Out Rota
  • Overtime Available

Key Responsibilities

  • Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance
  • Lighting maintenance, fault finding, lamp replacements, and minor installations
  • Emergency lighting testing
  • Control panel inspections and fault diagnosis
  • Ballast replacements
  • BMS monitoring and basic operation
  • Maintaining and updating site logbooks
  • Basic plumbing duties including unblocking toilets
  • Maintenance of pumps and motors
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety procedures across all sites

Salary & Benefits

  • Up to £45,000
  • Zone 1–4 Travel Card
  • Travel paid from home to site
  • 20 days holiday + bank holidays
  • Increased to 22 days after 6 months
  • Increased to 25 days after 12 months

Requirements

  • City & Guilds Level 2 & 3 Electrical Qualification
  • 18th Edition
  • Proven experience within commercial building maintenance
  • Strong fault-finding and maintenance skills
  • Multi-skilled approach to building services maintenance
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills
  • Ability to provide copies of trade qualifications
