Electrical Shift Engineer

Shift Engineer (Electrical Bias) M&E Services Provider Commercial Office Building | Moorgate, London Salary: Up to £52,000 + Benefits Alice Rose Recruitment is partnering with a leading global main contractor as they continue to expand their building services maintenance division. We are seeking an experienced Shift Engineer (Electrical Bias) to join a high-performing engineering team at a prestigious commercial office building in Moorgate. Shift Engineer Key Responsibilities: * Electrical Maintenance: Fault finding, lighting systems, lamp and ballast replacements, control panels, and power distribution * Mechanical Support: Pumps, motors, seals, bearings, and basic mechanical/HVAC systems * HVAC & Building Plant: AHUs, FCUs, air conditioning systems, and emergency lighting * Building Systems Monitoring: BMS operation (trend analysis), chiller resets, and UPS systems * Service Delivery: Ensure efficient operation of all building services and maintain high standards for tenant experience * Team Collaboration: Work as part of a large, professional on-site engineering team Shift Engineer Shift Pattern: * shift pattern: 4on, 4off days only * Hours: 07:00 - 19:00 Package & Benefits * Salary up to £52,000 * 20 days annual leave (shift-based) * Pension scheme * Cycle to Work scheme * Ongoing training & development (internal & external) * Clear career progression pathways * Overtime opportunities Shift Engineer Requirements: * Electrical qualification (City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent) * 18th Edition Wiring Regulations * Proven experience within commercial or critical environments (e.g. corporate offices, banking, data centres) * Strong understanding of building services systems
