Alice Rose Recruitment is currently recruiting for an Electrical Shift Engineer to join the engineering team at a prestigious commercial building in the heart of Liverpool Street. This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading building services provider, working within a high-rise commercial environment. The successful candidate will be electrically qualified and responsible for delivering both planned and reactive maintenance across the landlord's areas of the building. Continental Shift Pattern: 4 nights, 4 off, 3 days, 3 nights, 6 off, 4 days - 07:00am - 19:00pm / 19:00am - 07:00am

Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across electrical and building services systems
- Electrical fault finding and maintenance on lighting, power distribution, control panels, ballasts, and small installations
- Emergency lighting testing and maintenance
- Monitor and maintain landlord electrical systems within a high-rise commercial building
- Monitor BMS systems and respond to alarms where required
- Maintenance of AHUs and FCUs, including filter changes and cleaning
- Chiller monitoring and resets
- Carry out water temperature monitoring and water treatment checks
- Monitor mechanical plant, pumps, and motors
- Complete minor plumbing duties including unblocking toilets
- Escort and supervise specialist subcontractors
- Ensure all maintenance records and logbooks are updated accurately
- Proactively identify faults and arrange remedial works
- Maintain excellent working relationships with clients and occupiers
- Ensure all works are completed in accordance with health & safety regulations and site procedures
Requirements
- City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 Electrical Qualification
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- Proven experience within a commercial building maintenance environment
- Experience working within a large commercial or high-rise building
- Strong electrical fault-finding ability
- Multi-skilled approach to building services maintenance
