An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join a well-established facilities management team at a prestigious mixed-use site in St James Park. This is a static, landlord-side role supporting retail, commercial, and residential systems. You will be joining a stable and experienced team, working alongside a Supervisor and three engineers. This vacancy has arisen due to the resignation of a long-standing team member.
Role Overview
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering both planned and reactive electrical maintenance across the site. You will be working on a wide range of systems including chillers, cooling towers, and associated building services infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive electrical works
- Perform safe isolation and LOTO procedures
- Electrical installations including lighting, sockets, and ballasts
- Emergency lighting and fire alarm testing
- Maintenance and fault finding on MCC panels, distribution boards, and submains
- Work on 3-phase electrical systems
- Ensure all works are carried out in line with health and safety regulations
