Alice Rose Recruitment is delighted to be partnering with one of the UK’s leading construction and maintenance companies to recruit a Technical Contract Manager for a flagship commercial site near Warren Street.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all aspects of service delivery meet contractual obligations, align with Building Services processes, and exceed client expectations. This is a key leadership role where you will manage staff, budgets, and client relationships while driving performance, compliance, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage all directly employed staff, ensuring service delivery meets agreed standards.
- Manage agreed KPIs and SLAs, ensuring resources are effectively deployed to achieve targets.
- Oversee Health & Safety and environmental performance on site.
- Ensure compliance with quality procedures across the contract.
- Take full responsibility for the site P&L, delivering agreed margins.
- Recruit, develop, and appraise staff to maintain high-performing teams.
- Manage absenteeism, performance issues, and disciplinary matters where required.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the main point of contact.
- Prepare and deliver reports for both the client and senior management.
- Represent the business at all client meetings.
- Develop and implement operational strategies to drive continuous improvement.
- Identify and manage additional business opportunities to enhance client satisfaction and increase revenue.
- Undertake any other duties reasonably requested by senior management.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience managing a Hard Services FM contract.
- Proven track record of managing large commercial sites (contract values over £1.5m per annum).
- Strong business development skills with the ability to identify and grow opportunities.
- Recognised management qualification.
- Experience delivering service excellence in high-profile office environments.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels.
