Alice Rose Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Mechanical Shift Engineer to join a highly reputable building services provider on a commercial site contract based in Liverpool Street. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced mechanical engineer to work on a well-recognised, technically challenging contract with a market-leading facilities management provider. The role offers strong training, clear career progression, and long-term development within a supportive and expanding organisation.
Working Hours: Continental shift pattern (days and nights) 07:00 - 19:00 / 19:00 - 07:00
Benefits:
- Basic salary of up to £50,000

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance within a commercial environment
- Commercial PPM/Reactive maintenance under contractual SLA
- FCU's, AHU's, Pressurisation units, Cooling towers
- Must have a strong background in pumps and seal repairs
- BMS Head End Controls
- HVAC plant
- Experience on CHP, Absorption chillers, Vacuum waste/toilets, Sprinkler systems, Generators, Chilled beams would be beneficial
Shift Leader Requirements:
- Mechanically qualified (City & Guilds Level 3, NVQ, or equivalent)
- Previous experience working within a critical site or large environment (desirable)
- Apprentice-trained (preferred)
- Proven background in building services or facilities maintenance
- Strong client-facing skills with excellent communication ability
