We offer a curated selection of luxury, unique fabrics and fine haberdashery, teach one-on-one sewing classes for all skill levels, and provide expert alterations. If it’s couture, we’ve got it, and we do it with precision, artistry, and flair.
Position Overview:
We’re seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Tailor’s Assistant to work closely with our Lead Tailor. In this role, you’ll support garment preparations, alterations, fittings, and finishing, gaining first-hand experience in couture-level garment construction. This is an excellent opportunity to develop high-end tailoring skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with garment alterations, hemming, and finishing work
- Assist with zip, button, and appliqué applications
- Prepare tools, fabrics, and workstations for the Lead Tailor
- Support fittings and help take measurements under guidance
- Handle basic repairs and adjustments as directed
- Maintain a tidy, professional, and client-ready workspace
