We're looking for a proactive and self-motivated Territory Sales Manager to drive sales growth across a defined region. You'll be responsible for creating demand for our product portfolio, developing strong relationships with merchants, distributors and contractors, and building a robust pipeline of project opportunities. This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially driven sales professional who enjoys winning new business and developing long-term customer partnerships.
Patch: Covering the South West of England, South Wales and the central southern region, with responsibility for customers across Cornwall, Devon, Somerset, Dorset, Hampshire, Berkshire, Oxfordshire, Warwickshire, Herefordshire, Powys and South Wales.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Manage and grow sales with key merchants, distributors and contractors across your territory
- Build a strong project pipeline and convert opportunities into sales
- Develop close customer relationships to drive loyalty and long-term growth
- Deliver product training, presentations and customer engagement activities
- Identify new business opportunities through market intelligence, networking and prospecting
- Maintain accurate CRM records, forecasts and sales reports
- Collaborate with internal teams to maximise opportunities and deliver exceptional customer support
ABOUT YOU
- Proven sales experience within construction, building products, utilities or a related sector
- Highly self-motivated, driven and able to work independently
- Strong experience working with buying groups, contractors and distributors
- Experience of contractor-led selling and spot market sales
- Ideally experienced in working with multi-national distributors
- Understanding of the multi-utilities market would be highly beneficial
- Excellent communication, presentation and relationship-building skills
- A proven ability to identify opportunities, influence stakeholders and deliver results
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel throughout the region
