We’re looking for an experienced Tool Maintenance Fitter to join our Engineering team in Huntingdon. This is a hands‑on role focused on ensuring extrusion tooling is maintained to the highest standard to support safe, efficient and repeatable production.

What You Will Do:

  • Maintain, repair and modify extrusion tooling, dies, jigs and fixtures
  • Ensure tooling is optimised, available and production‑ready
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance and engineering improvements
  • Support new tooling from commissioning through to production start‑up
  • Record tooling settings, history and data within the Tool Room database
  • Work closely with Production, Engineering and Maintenance teams
  • Support continuous improvement, 5S activity and safe working practices

About You:

  • Level 3 Engineering qualification (or equivalent) with 3+ years’ experience
  • Previous experience in a Toolmaking or machining environment
  • Ability to read and understand 2D and 3D tooling drawings
  • Hands‑on experience with lathes, milling, drilling, grinding and similar equipment
  • Experience within extrusion manufacturing (desirable)
  • Strong attention to detail, safety awareness and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team
