We are looking for a Multi‐Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team on a double‐day shift pattern. In this role, you will carry out maintenance and installation of engineering services, plant, and equipment within a manufacturing environment. You will play a key part in ensuring equipment effectiveness and availability, supporting our production teams to achieve performance targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive and reactive maintenance on machinery and equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and company EHS policies.
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults promptly.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives, including 5S and Kaizen events.
  • Participate in planned maintenance shutdowns and major repairs.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of interventions and maintenance history.
  • Provide operational cover for shift engineers when required.

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong mechanical and/or electrical skills with experience in a manufacturing setting.
  • Ability to read technical drawings and troubleshoot engineering systems.
  • Knowledge of CMMS platforms and lean manufacturing principles.
  • Completed mechanical or electrical apprenticeship (NVQ Level 3) or equivalent.
  • HNC/HND qualification desirable.
  • Experience with plastic extrusion or injection moulding is a plus.
  • IPAF & FLT training desirable.
