Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6.
  • Support coordination with design, engineering, project, and commercial teams to ensure accurate progress tracking.
  • Assist in preparing progress reports, resource plans, and critical path analyses.
  • Identify programme risks and support the development of mitigation strategies.
  • Contribute to tender programmes and bid submissions with realistic timelines.
  • Ensure compliance with client reporting requirements and contractual obligations.
  • Participate in programme review meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support junior team members and contribute to knowledge sharing on planning best practice.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement in programme management and reporting processes.

Requirements

  • Degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related discipline.
  • Experience in the UK Water or Utilities sector (water and wastewater preferred).
  • 5–8 years’ experience in project planning within the infrastructure or utilities sector.
  • Proficient user of Primavera P6 with experience supporting complex programmes.
  • Good understanding of NEC contract planning requirements.
  • Experience supporting design & build or framework delivery programmes.
  • Understanding of 4D planning and scheduling (Desirable).
  • Exposure to collaborative planning approaches (Desirable).
