Ali Specials is a growing modest fashion brand with dedicated kids' and women's lines. We are looking for a creative, organised, and hands-on Fashion Designer to join our team on a part-time basis. We are based in NW11. If you want to be involved in every stage of the product lifecycle and grow alongside an expanding brand, this is for you!

You’ll work closely with our founder to translate trends into commercially successful designs, taking collections all the way from concept to production. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys being hands-on, creative, and seeing designs go from idea to finished product.

Responsibilities:
  • Research modest fashion trends, colours, fabrics and market inspiration
  • Develop new collection concepts and design ideas
  • Create fashion sketches and design concepts
  • Prepare and update tech packs for manufacturers
  • Communicate design details and amendments with suppliers
  • Review samples and suggest improvements
  • Help build cohesive collections across categories
  • Ensure designs align with brand identity and customer needs
  • Support with seasonal collection planning
Requirements:
  • Experience in fashion design (womenswear/kidswear preferred)
  • An understanding of modest fashion aesthetics, garment construction and production
  • Ability to create clear design briefs and tech packs
  • Good eye for trends and commercial fashion
  • Creative thinker with strong attention to detail
  • Able to work independently and manage deadlines
