Sales Manager - Peterborough - 50/60k + comms ALH Recruitment are looking to recruit a Sales Manager with immediate effect for our market leading client based in Peterborough. Sales Manager Our leading client is looking for a Sales Manager with an engineering background, understanding of how equipment works and who can put together equipment proposals for our customers in the food processing industry. Job Description: 1. To actively seek new opportunities and associated partner equipment solutions. This is a crucial part of the role to expand the sales and reach into new and existing client base. This will be via direct contact and planned customer visits throughout the UK and potentially into Europe when needed. 2. To promote and sell a specialised range of food processing equipment from their own range and their partner’s ranges. From single machines to full turn-key processing lines 3. Must be Self-motivated and Enthusiastic 4. Ability to generate and manage sales enquiries and to deliver practicable and cost-effective turn-key solutions to our customers 5. To seek out new business from a vast range of opportunities within a highly competitive market 6. Ability to work as an individual, but also as part of an existing team of experienced sales professionals, sales design team and our associated partners 7. Willingness to travel extensively within the target area, and from time to time overseas, as required 8. Full product training given Target Area: UK and Ireland (initially?) Customer Base: From small / medium through to “Blue Chip” manufacturing companies Qualifications: Experience in an Engineering environment would be an advantage and a basic understanding of AutoCAD / SolidWorks design software 1. Ideally qualified to B-Tech mechanical engineering and with good grades in English and Maths to GCSE and/or A-Level 2. Good knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint as a minimum 3. Understanding and prior use of Customer Databases and Reporting procedures an advantage, but not essential Remuneration: This exciting opportunity in machinery sales offers a generous remuneration package incl: 1.
