ALH Recruitment are looking to recruit a Field Service Engineer with immediate effect for our client based in the Boston area of Lincolnshire. EV experience would be advantageous for this position.
- Attending sites across the UK, including commercial and private properties to fix EV DC chargers.
- Attending sites across the UK, including commercial and private properties to fix EV AC chargers.
- Compiling accurate and appropriate documentation for both internal and external stakeholders in a precise and timely manner.
- Supporting product development.
Responsibilities:
- Undertaking planned inspection and maintenance according to technical and manufacturer requirements.
- Performing proactive and reactive maintenance, fault diagnosis and resolution in a timely manner.
- Testing and configuring DC chargers in the factory when required.
- Troubleshooting reported faults from the office and talking through fixes with contractors/clients on site.
- Testing product firmware, apps and cloud integrations.
- Provide documented feedback to R&D team.
Required Qualifications:
- 18th Edition Electrical wiring regulations.
- ECS Card.
- 2 years EV DC experience.
- 2391 Test and Inspection.
- OCPP protocol experience.
A full and clean UK driving license, good customer support skills and good written and verbal communication skills are also required.
