About Stripe
Stripe is a financial infrastructure platform for businesses. Millions of companies from the world's largest enterprises to the most ambitious startups use Stripe to accept payments, grow their revenue, and accelerate new business opportunities. Our mission is to increase the GDP of the internet.
About the Team
Stripe's International Product Marketing team drives go-to-market strategy across EMEA’s highest-priority markets. We work with P0 markets with significant investment in product and GTM and content velocity is a critical opportunity to address. These markets require content that is conceived and crafted with deep local understanding that engages audiences more deeply than simple translations from English-language originals.
The Role
We’re looking for an organized, collaborative Product Marketing Manager focused on Content to own the regional content engine for the EMEA market. You’ll drive the local editorial strategy, develop data-backed content, and craft original and adapted assets that engage, inform, and resonate with local audiences across topics including fintech, B2B technology, AI, cross-border commerce, and digital payments. A strong PMM foundation and systems thinking are critical to building a scalable content ecosystem tailored to regional needs. You’ll reduce reliance on reactive PMM support by driving efficiency, quality, and consistency, while translating complex technical concepts into clear, culturally relevant narratives in close partnership with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Systems & AI-Driven Content Operations (30%)
- Design and implement a scalable, end-to-end regional content system, starting with event content and expanding to sales and marketing use cases.
- Build structured workflows (intake → prioritization → creation → localization → distribution) to replace manual, reactive processes.
- Develop reusable toolkits, templates, and playbooks to standardize content production across markets and events.
- Introduce AI-driven automation layers across the content lifecycle to improve speed, scalability, and quality.
- Partner with cross-functional teams (PMM, events, demand gen, localization) to coordinate high-volume content needs and ensure alignment.
- Audit current workflows and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce duplication, and scale output across regions.
- Operate with a proactive, “startup” mindset — identifying gaps, anticipating needs, and building solutions rather than executing predefined tasks.
- Content Creation & Localization (30%)
- Research, write, edit, and produce high-quality original content for the assigned market: blog posts, customer stories, landing pages, email campaigns, social copy, long-form guides, and whitepapers.
- Develop presentation materials for field marketing events — keynote decks, panel briefs, speaker talking points, audience-facing handouts, and post-event content. Ensure materials are locally tailored with market-specific data, examples, and narratives.
- Adapt and localize global content assets beyond translation — ensuring cultural relevance, local examples, regulatory accuracy, and market-specific positioning.
- Develop SEO-optimized content informed by local keyword research and search behaviour.
- Maintain brand voice consistency while adapting tone and style for local audience expectations.
- Leverage AI tools and workflows (e.g., LLMs, generative AI, automation platforms) to accelerate content production, adaptation, and localization while maintaining high editorial standards.
- Balance content creation with content adaptation and reuse, focusing on remixing and scaling existing global assets rather than producing net-new content from scratch where possible.
- Content Activation & Distribution (15%)
- Partner with demand generation and growth marketing to activate content across channels.
- Own and maintain a regional content calendar aligned with global campaigns, product launches, local events, and seasonal business cycles.
- Support regional event marketing with pre-event promotion, on-site materials, and post-event recaps.
- Collaborate with social marketing on platform-appropriate content.
- Develop structured processes to anticipate content needs ahead of campaigns and events, reducing reactive requests and enabling proactive content planning.
- Sales Enablement (15%)
- Work with PMMs to identify highest-priority content gaps and produce targeted localized sales collateral: industry-specific solution decks, one-pagers, competitive battle cards, and FAQ docs.
- Build and maintain a regional content library that is organized, current, and accessible to GTM teams.
- Establish scalable frameworks and templates for sales enablement content to ensure consistency, speed, and ease of reuse across markets.
- Measurement & Optimization (5%)
- Support content performance tracking — metadata, tagging, and qualitative performance observations.
- Conduct periodic content audits to identify underperforming assets and opportunities for refresh.
- Measure and optimize for efficiency and scale, including reductions in manual effort, turnaround time, and dependency on core PMM teams.
- Use data and feedback loops (from events, sales, and internal stakeholders) to continuously refine content systems and outputs.
- Buffer (5%)
- Support ad hoc regional content needs (e.g., product briefs for vertical media, comms support).
Minimum Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in content marketing, journalism, or related fields, with a focus on B2B technology, fintech, or payments (5+ years preferred for JP role).
- Native-level Japanese (JP role) or Mandarin (GCN role) with business-level English. Within EMEA, French, German and Spanish would be nice to haves.
- Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to adhere to brand guidelines and maintain a high quality bar for differentiated content.
- Analytical thinker who can derive original insights from data and market signals.
- Strong project management skills: managing editorial calendars and production timelines across multiple stakeholders.
- Collaborative mindset: you work effectively with Product Marketers, Localization Managers, and external agencies.
- Demonstrated experience using AI tools to produce high-quality content at speed; you have a strong point of view on how to use LLMs, AI writing assistants, and generative tools to draft, adapt, and scale world-class content while maintaining editorial rigor and brand voice. You see AI as a force multiplier for quality, not a shortcut around it.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a global organization with understanding of the difference between translation and localization.
- Knowledge of the local payments ecosystem and regulatory landscape (JP payments / GCN cross-border commerce).
- Experience creating or adapting sales enablement materials (decks, one-pagers) and event collateral.
- Familiarity with SEO tools and content performance analytics.
- Passionate about technology and motivated to understand how financial infrastructure works.
Key Collaboration Partners
- Partner: Regional PMM | Direct manager. Sets strategic direction, approves positioning, prioritises requests.
- Localization / Language Manager | Co-works on translation management and quality review.
- Social Marketing | Informed for amplification; co-works on event and campaign social content.
- Demand Generation | Partners on content activation, campaign alignment, and distribution.
- Comms | Coordinates on media briefings and vertical press content.
- Sales (AEs, SDRs) | End consumers of enablement content; feedback loop on gaps.
Success Metrics
Success Metrics (6-Month Initial Period)
- KPI Original content pieces published | 9–12.
- Customer case studies completed | 2–3.
- Field marketing event presentations delivered | 3–4.
- Organic traffic growth (local platforms + domain) | +10–20%.
- Sales content satisfaction score (survey) | ≥ 4.0 / 5.0.
- PMM time reclaimed from content execution | ≥ 50% of prior workload shifted.
