ABOUT THE CLIENT — The GMP Academy Production & Activation team supports Google Marketing Platform stakeholders in delivering high-impact digital experiences. This includes building and managing livestream event pages, executing email marketing campaigns, and maintaining audience engagement through Marketo and Gather platforms. The team operates at the intersection of marketing automation, production delivery, and stakeholder management, ensuring every campaign is executed with precision, quality, and alignment to business goals. From livestream activations to bi-weekly newsletters, the team plays a key role in enabling scalable, data-driven engagement.
ABOUT THE ROLE — The Marketing Automation & Activation Coordinator is responsible for end-to-end coordination and quality assurance of marketing production services for GMP Academy and Partner Center programs. This role combines client-facing project management with hands-on oversight of campaign execution across Marketo and Gather. You will ensure that livestream events, email communications, and audience journeys are delivered accurately, on time, and in line with best practices. Working closely with a Marketo Architect, you will act as the central point of coordination across stakeholders, ensuring seamless execution and continuous optimization of marketing activations. Time allocation: Up to 60 hours a month.
RESPONSIBILITIES —
- Act as the main point of contact for stakeholder briefs and campaign coordination
- Manage end-to-end production delivery of livestream events and email campaigns across Gather and Marketo
- Coordinate production workflows and track progress across tools and timelines
- Perform QA on event pages, email builds, and Marketo programs to ensure accuracy and readiness
- Validate Gather-Marketo integrations and campaign setup before launch
- Build and manage audience segmentation and campaign scheduling in Marketo
- Ensure compliance with data governance, opt-ins, and unsubscribe requirements
- Support reporting and production tracking
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance campaign execution
Requirements
- Valid Marketo Certification (required and must not have expired)
- Proven experience working with marketing automation platforms, preferably Marketo
- Experience managing email marketing campaigns and digital event activations
- Experience working with Gather or similar event management platforms
- Strong understanding of campaign QA processes and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously
- Experience working in a client-facing or cross-functional coordination role
- Familiarity with CRM systems, data segmentation, and audience targeting
- Strong communication and organisational skills
