Description

Objective: Provide event programme management support to the EMEA Google for Education marketing team. This will involve managing a portfolio of events, all directed to drive awareness, consideration and ultimately purchase of Google for Education products. The role will be provisioned with a Google LDAP (@google.com) for a 12‑month period and will require in‑person presence at the Google office in London 2‑3 days per week.

Metrics will be defined from events and all follow‑up and nurturing activities pre and post events.

  • #1 device globally – Chromebooks have been the top device in primary and secondary education since 2021, with 50 million students and educators using Chromebooks worldwide.

To ensure this work is inclusive, we want to market to everyone and design events that cater for all. The vendor will review and deliver event inclusivity best practice.

Get To: Get Education leaders across EMEA to move down the decision‑making funnel by providing high‑impact experiences at a variety of events with messaging aligned with their needs, positioning Google for Education as their key partner for digital transformation in education.

Key Deliverables:

  • Large event management: working with internal teams and our events agency to deliver high‑quality, efficient events that share learnings and resources across global teams.
  • Bett – January 2025.
  • Learning event(s) (currently being scoped).
  • Scaled event management – EMEA: review and propose tradeshows & 3rd‑party event presence to reach a larger audience.
  • Scale content from our large events (e.g., Bett) to continue sharing our narrative in all scaled events.
  • Scaled partner and sales event strategy and support with resources, tracking and reporting.
  • Education World Forum: manage our presence at the event for over 100 ministries of education.
  • Reporting: ongoing reports on impact of these events over time and showing ROI of investment.
