The Stripe EMEA Marketing team is a dynamic and rapidly growing group dedicated to transforming customers into enthusiastic advocates for Stripe. What you’ll do
We are seeking a results-driven and highly motivated Events Marketing Manager to join our marketing team to create event experiences that delight, inspire and educate our audiences, bring our brand to life and help expand our reach across EMEA. This is a business critical role at Stripe, responsible for developing and executing strategic event marketing plans that align with our EMEA marketing goals, contributing to the overall success and growth of the organization. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing strategic event marketing plans and executing on those plans end-to-end, including post-event reporting and making recommendations for the future. This role will work across both third party and first party events, managing multiple events concurrently.
Responsibilities
- Event and project management: Develop and execute end-to-end events and experiences, managing pre-, during- and post-stages, including overall project management and workback schedules. Efficiently organize multiple projects concurrently, ensuring all workstreams are effectively managed and progressed.
- Agency Management: Coordinating with outside agencies, vendors, third party event organisers, and internal teams to plan and execute in person events.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with various teams including Field Marketing, Sales, Communications, Design and other teams.
- Event Administration: Process contracts, raise PO’s and update stakeholders on reporting documents.
- Measurement and Reporting: Measure ROI and make recommendations for future events.
- Event Expertise: Held to develop new event ideas, concepts, processes and formats, ensuring consistency and creativity throughout all event touchpoints.
Who you are

Minimum requirements
- 5 years of full-time experience planning a range of events across EMEA for multiple audiences in a fast-paced environment, preferably at a technology company. Events you have experience with should include trade-shows, roadshows, CXO dinners, roundtables and workshops.
- Good understanding of tech conferences in EMEA and working with marketing and sales teams to coordinate and execute events.
- Good knowledge of venues across EMEA spanning various event formats.
- Good understanding of the agency landscape, including sourcing, working and negotiating with agency partners.
- Strong event project management and administration skills.
- A relentless commitment to focusing on the details and staying hyper-organized.
- Superb communication and immaculate attention to detail.
- Independent way of working and high motivation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience owning and executing roadshows and/or user conferences of 500+ attendees.
- Experience marketing to audiences in UK, France and/or Germany; fluency in French or German is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional and cross-border teams.
- Strong problem solving skills and a proactive approach to finding solutions and hitting targets.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in high-growth technology or payments industry.
