Role Overview
We’re seeking a results‐driven and creative Events Marketing Manager to join the EMEA marketing organization, developing and executing strategic event programs that bring the Stripe brand to life. This role is responsible for the end‐to‐end management of first‐party and third‐party events — from planning and logistics to execution, measurement, and post‐event analysis. The Events Marketing Manager will collaborate cross‐functionally with Marketing, Sales, Communications, and Design to create exceptional experiences that engage, inspire, and convert audiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute the full lifecycle of events across EMEA, including trade shows, roadshows, roundtables, CXO dinners, and workshops.
- Oversee pre‐event planning, onsite execution, and post‐event follow‐up, ensuring operational excellence and stakeholder alignment.
- Manage multiple concurrent projects, with strong attention to timelines, dependencies, and deliverables.
- Collaborate with agencies, vendors, and third‐party organizers to deliver high‐quality event experiences.
- Source, brief, and negotiate with partners to optimize performance and value.
- Ensure brand consistency and operational efficiency across all touchpoints.
- Partner closely with Field Marketing, Sales, Communications, and Design teams to align event strategy with business goals.
- Work collaboratively across countries and functions to ensure consistent messaging and audience targeting.
- Manage event documentation, contracts, purchase orders, and budget tracking.
- Measure event ROI and produce post‐event performance reports, with actionable recommendations for future improvements.
- Contribute creative ideas to evolve event formats, experiences, and processes.
- Maintain up‐to‐date knowledge of the EMEA event landscape, including venues, technologies, and partner networks.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience delivering a range of events across EMEA, ideally in a technology or high‐growth environment.
- Proven track record managing trade shows, user conferences, executive roundtables, and multi‐market roadshows.
- Deep understanding of B2B event marketing, project management, and event operations.
- Strong grasp of EMEA venues, agency networks, and regional event best practices.
- Excellent communication skills with a meticulous eye for detail and organization.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Independent, proactive, and solutions‐driven approach.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience leading user conferences or roadshows with 500+ attendees.
- Familiarity with audiences across UK, France, and Germany — fluency in French or German is a plus.
- Background in the financial technology or payments sector.
- Strong problem‐solving mindset and adaptability in fast‐paced environments.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively across borders and functions.
