Your Role

Partner closely with customers to deliver high‐quality technical onboarding, solution design, best‐practice guidance, and hands‐on implementation support.

Support our Professional and Expert Foundation offerings, acting as a technical owner for assigned accounts and ensuring smooth delivery through clear communication, rigorous documentation, and thoughtful stakeholder alignment.

Develop custom search applications leveraging the tools, frameworks, and partners of the Algolia ecosystem.

Distill and advocate customer interests, needs and product feedback to Product and Engineering teams.

Work with Sales Teams on evaluation and adoption of Algolia solutions, articulating how our platform meets their goals and KPIs.

Assist in the sales process including discovery, demo, proofs of concept, RFP responses and business justification.

Champion technical excellence across a variety of customer architectures and use cases.

Continuously stay updated on industry trends in Search and Discovery and contribute to thought leadership.

Collaborate with Solution Architects and Customer Success teams during the seamless transition to the post‐sales process.

Qualifications

Obsessed with solving customer problems.

2–3+ years experience in a customer‐facing technical role (SE, SA, consultant, PM), ideally in the SaaS space.

Prior software development experience in one or more of the following: Front End (JavaScript, TypeScript, React), Back End (Java, Ruby, Go, Node, Python, Swift/Objective‐C).

Experience with data formats and data transformation.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Superior organizational skills, able to juggle multiple customers and shifting priorities.

Experience at a high‐growth, high‐ARR stage ($150–300 M+ ARR) with lots of change and building internal infrastructure.

Nice to Have

Background in the search industry or e‐commerce.

Knowledge of specific e‐commerce frameworks (Magento, Shopify, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, commercetools, etc.).

Familiarity with emerging concepts in agentic AI systems (autonomous reasoning, tool use, multi‐agent orchestration).

Knowledge in Analytics, SEO.
