The Finance Analyst plays a key role in supporting financial planning, reporting, and analysis across the business. This role is responsible for delivering accurate financial insights that drive decision-making, improve performance, and support strategic objectives. You will act as a trusted partner to operational teams, ensuring financial discipline while identifying opportunities for growth and efficiency.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare and deliver monthly financial reports, including variance analysis against budget and forecast.
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business strategy.
- Partner with operational and commercial teams to provide financial insight and challenge performance.
- Analyse key financial and operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Assist in the preparation of business cases and investment appraisals.
- Ensure data integrity across financial systems and reporting tools.
- Support cost control initiatives and margin improvement activities.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of financial processes and reporting efficiency.
- Assist with year-end processes and audits where required.
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
- Experience in a finance or analytical role, ideally within a commercial or operational environment.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and present clear insights.
- Proficiency in Excel and financial systems (e.g., ERP tools).
- Studying towards or qualified in a professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA) preferred.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence non-financial stakeholders.
- High attention to detail and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
