You'll lead the production team to deliver high-quality products on time while fostering a positive team culture and driving operational excellence., The Production Manager will be responsible for managing and mentoring production staff, providing leadership and guidance to foster a positive and productive work environment. Staff Management
- Develop and implement training programs to ensure that staff members have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their jobs effectively.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of production staff and provide feedback on areas for improvement. Implement corrective actions as needed.
- Identifying resourcing requirements and following relevant processes to ensure recruitment needs meet.
- Foster a culture of teamwork and collaboration among production staff and other departments.
- Ensure that all staff members are aware of and adhere to company policies and procedures, including health and safety guidelines.
- Manage staff scheduling and resource allocation to ensure that production targets are met and staffing levels are appropriate.
- Identify opportunities for career development and advancement for production staff and support their professional growth.
Production
- Develop and implement strategies to improve production efficiency, reduce waste, and minimise costs
- Deliver the daily production plan optimising resources and communicating performance against targets & KPIs
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance quality, safety, and productivity
- Plan and manage the production process, ensuring that output meets quality, safety, and efficiency standards
Health and Safety Management At Algeco
- Champion health and safety at all times, ensuring that our team members are always working in a safe and supportive environment
- Responsible for embedding a health and safety culture.
- To report and investigate as appropriate and implement corrective actions for any observations, near misses, accidents or incidents in line with Algeco policy.
We are looking for a Production Manager with the ability to schedule and execute production plans efficiently. You should have a proven track record of driving production improvements, optimising workflows, and implementing best practices to enhance efficiency and output.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential, along with experience managing a team in a manufacturing or construction environment. The ability to inspire and motivate staff to perform at their best, resolve conflicts, and foster a positive team culture is also key to success in this role.
