PURPOSE The Finance Business Partner plays a key role in supporting financial planning, reporting, and analysis across the business. This role is responsible for delivering accurate financial insights that drive decision‑making, improve performance, and support strategic objectives. You will act as a trusted partner to operational teams, ensuring financial discipline while identifying opportunities for growth and efficiency.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare and deliver monthly financial reports, including variance analysis against budget and forecast.
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business strategy.
- Partner with operational and commercial teams to provide financial insight and challenge performance.
- Analyse key financial and operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Assist in the preparation of business cases and investment appraisals and ensure data integrity across financial systems and reporting tools.
- Support cost control initiatives and margin improvement activities.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of financial processes and reporting efficiency.
- Assist with year‑end processes and audits where required.
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
- Experience in a finance or analytical role, ideally within a commercial or operational environment.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and present clear insights.
- Proficiency in Excel and financial systems (e.g., ERP tools).
- Studying towards or qualified in a professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA) preferred.
