We're looking for a driven and curious Performance Marketing Consultant with around 4 years' hands-on experience to join the team at Algebra. Algebra is a specialist performance marketing agency built around flexibility, expertise, and genuine partnership. We work differently from traditional agencies, offering clients deep channel knowledge and transparent collaboration, designed to drive meaningful performance.
Our clients range from ambitious SMEs to global brands, and we support them in multiple ways: from fully managing performance marketing to consulting with established in-house teams looking to elevate their results. The work you'll do will be varied, strategic, and genuinely impactful.
This role is hybrid, with 2 days per week in our Canary Wharf office and 3 days working from home.
The RoleAs a Performance Marketing Consultant, you'll plan, execute, and optimise campaigns across Paid Social and Paid Search, working closely with senior team members while owning day-to-day delivery for your accounts. We work across both channels deliberately. Great performance marketing requires understanding how they interact, and we want someone who thinks across the full paid media mix.
Responsibilities include:- Building, optimising, and managing Paid Social campaigns across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and Snap.
- Supporting Paid Search activity across Google Ads and Microsoft Ads, including search campaign structure, keyword strategy, and audience-led search tactics.
- Applying cross-channel thinking to identify where paid social and search strategies can complement and reinforce each other.
- Supporting cross-vertical activity across B2B and B2C, from SMEs to global brands.
- Monitoring performance, analysing data, and producing clear, insight-driven reports.
- Contributing to internal best practices and helping improve processes.
- Joining client calls, supporting relationship management, and communicating performance updates.
- Assisting with new business activity, including research, audits, and contributing to pitch materials.
- Using third-party tools for campaign management, reporting, creative automation, or workflow support.
You'll thrive in this role if you're proactive, analytical, and excited about developing your performance marketing expertise. We're looking for someone who has:
- 4+ years' experience in paid media, with Paid Social as your primary channel.
- Hands-on experience across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and Snap.
- Working knowledge of Paid Search. You don't need to be a PPC specialist, but you should understand campaign structure, match types, bidding strategy, and how search and social audiences relate.
- Strong analytical skills and a genuine comfort with performance data. You make decisions from numbers, not gut feel or platform defaults.
- A structured, logical approach to problem-solving. We'll ask you to demonstrate this during the process.
- Strong communication skills: articulate, personable, and confident with clients.
- Experience working across multiple accounts or projects simultaneously.
- Confidence building and implementing campaigns across B2B and/or B2C.
- Awareness of platform trends, new features, and emerging opportunities across both search and social.
- Willingness to support new business pitches and contribute ideas to proposals.
- Experience using third-party paid media management or reporting tools (or a genuine enthusiasm to learn).
You'll support and manage a range of performance marketing accounts, taking responsibility for campaign builds, optimisation, reporting, and client communication, with guidance where needed. You'll have room to grow, experiment, and develop your strategic thinking as you progress. All we ask is that you bring enthusiasm, curiosity, and a genuine passion for performance marketing.
