We are a technology-enabled legal practice built to deliver the most complex corporate, PE and commercial work faster and more precisely than the traditional market. We pair senior practitioners with proprietary technology that removes low-value process from legal practice entirely.

This is a principal-level position, not a senior associate seat. You will own the firm's most strategically significant matters end-to-end, lead its highest-value client relationships, and work directly with the product and engineering team to shape how technology is applied to legal practice. The ceiling is set by output and ambition, not tenure.

What you'll own:

  • You will lead complex corporate and commercial matters from initial briefing through to signing, acting as the trusted first call for GC and founder-level clients.
  • You will set the technical standard for the team, mentoring lawyers, leading reviews, and building the playbooks and precedent that form the firm's institutional memory.
  • You will also contribute directly to business development and the firm's strategic direction.

What we're looking for:

  • Minimum eight years' PQE with a track record at a top-tier firm (Magic Circle, elite US) or in a senior in-house role.
  • Qualified and in good standing with the SRA, State Bar of California, or New York State Bar.
  • Demonstrated ownership of senior client relationships from origination through to renewal, with commercial instincts to match your legal judgment.
  • A record of developing junior lawyers, with clear views on what good legal work looks like and how to teach it.
  • Genuine engagement with technology — not as a passive user, but as someone with opinions about the tools and a desire to shape them.
  • Comfortable in a small, ambitious team where the structure of your role is something you help define rather than inherit.
  • Written and verbal communication that holds up against any counterparty — clear, precise, persuasive.
  • Exposure to the real estate industry on transactions is a big plus.
